Great customer service from Mr Owen from Darwin.
Got an upgrade upon arrival. At return, the service personnel offered us a lift over to the departure terminal - this would have otherwise been a long walk with our bags in 36 degree heat with over 80% humidity. Even though his driving was questionable including him scraping the passenger side of our rental vehicle on the gutter on arrival at the terminal - (we made sure to tell him that he was not to attribute any damage incurred to ourselves!), I found this to be an incredibly thoughtful gesture. I would rent from Sixt again even though they so far have no EV's for hire at Darwin.
My flight was delayed and the staff waited for me past closing time. Much appreciated.
