By car
From the A2 Autostrada (Mediterranean Highway), take the exit for "Reggio Calabria". After the exit, follow the signs toward Reggio Calabria city. Once in the city, continue following signs for the airport located near the coast, south of the city center.
With public transportation
There are direct buses operated by AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti) and other local companies that connect the city center to the airport.
The buses usually depart from Reggio Calabria's central bus station, which is located near the main train station Stazione Centrale.
The bus ride typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
From counter to car
You can pick up your SIXT vehicle directly from the parking lot in front of the airport (easily recognizable by the orange numbered columns), just 2 minutes walk away.
Return information
Follow the signs to the airport. The Rental Car Return Parking is located directly in front of the main entrance and is clearly marked with orange columns in front of each parking space (including the "car return" ones). After returning the vehicle, leave the keys to our SIXT staff, either in the parking area or at the counter inside. If there are no staff available (for example, during closing hours), put the keys in the orange box, located in front of the SIXT branch.
