We got a surprise upgrade from a mid size SUV to a full sized Volvo XC60 PHEV. The car was new, around 10k KMs, super comfortable, spacious, winter tires which gave us the freedom and ease of mind to travel around Tromsø even in bad weather. The person who helped us at the pick-up and drop-off was very nice and helpful, answered all of our questions, so we were very satisfied with Sixt. One note for those who read this: Don't be surprised that once you give the car back and the deposit returns, you'll be charged an AutoPass fee, of which you're informed in the Terms of Use. We got charged around 500 NOK after a week of driving around, and there is no way to bypass this as you cannot go to Tromsø from the airport without passing multiple of the these gates.

Thank you to the team for accommodating us and providing the car earlier than expected, as our flight arrived an hour and a half ahead of schedule. The car was clean and in good condition, with studded tires included. We also appreciated the toll fees being automatically deducted and the quick return of the deposit. While there were occasional maintenance and tire pressure alerts, everything else went smoothly. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend Sixt to others.
