Great Staff, Matthias, Philip, Jonas, Kevin, very helpful people, Never an issue, top service, Good Cars, good value. Can't complain:
I would strongly recommend that you take the Full insurance cover including Glass & Tyre cover, the zero responsibility cover, Especially during the winter months. If a car in front of you chips up a Tyre spike \ Stud & cracks your windscreen.. chips the body work.. if you don't have the cover.. it will cost you around €1k (speaking from my own experience)
I've never had any issues with Sixt, but I would still recommend the following:
I always take photos of the car (all around & especially any damage I see) before leaving the car park & when I drop it off even though I have the full insurance. I also make sure that all the damage on the car has already been noted in the rental agreement. This saves any issues later.
Once & once only I had a question from Sixt regarding a crack on the windscreen of a car that I had rented, which the person had missed on the contract, I immediately emailed them the photos I took before & after renting the car which clearly showed the crack on both sets.
This cleared up the question, which later the person saw the crack was noted on the contract & sent me an apology. It was a thing of nothing really. But this showed me the value of the zero responsibility insurance as if I had been responsible for the crack, I would have had to pay €1k.
